During a flashback in the episode "Man or Machine (Part II)", he was a criminal who was running away from the police. After evading the cops, Hacker met Doc Terror who offered him money and power if he worked on his side. Hacker agreed and became the Doc's experiment of turning a human into a robot. Right after the experiment, Hacker regretted the decision and asked to be changed back. When Doc Terror told him this was impossible, he responded with a violent tantrum which mortally injured Terror, who was forced to become a cyborg himself to survive.

Hacker is Doc Terror's cyborg companion and chief henchman.
